I find it interesting that only when WOMEN create their single sex spaces/events like video games or chess tournaments that we see tras coming out giggling "so you think women are bad at chess/video games?? Omg terfs are such misogynists!! Lolol".

Like it doesn't happen with other groups. When transwomen create their book clubs or publishing houses no one is saying "omg so you think that transwomen can't read?? Or write good books?! Transphobes!". When ethnic minorities create associations and forums for entrepreneurs of their community, no one is saying "omg so you think that black/asian/whatever people are bad at doing business?? Gotcha racists !!". When transmen created their own football team, I didn't see ANY TRA saying "so they think that transmen are bad at kicking balls?!". Suddenly it was clear for everyone why a group would create opportunities for themselves.

It's because they don't think sex based oppression is real. They know it's ok for oppressed groups to have their own things - they just don't think women and girls are an oppressed group (only the "gender" of "girl" is oppressed, in their eyes).

Good point. But it doesn't even make sense.. Like if they think that women are not an oppressed group, would they consider women's chess tournaments (for example) akin to white dudes' making their own boys' clubs? They know that white males do this to oppress and segregate others, not cause white males are insecure.

Many of them genuinely see women who want female only spaces as equivalent to white supremacists and see "AFAB" as an oppressor class over "trans AMAB". So they see women only spaces as equivalent to white only spaces.

Note that they see all "AFABs", including transmen, as oppressors of "trans AMABs" so contrary to popular belief, it isn't just "cis is the oppressor of trans" it is much more insane than that - it is "female is the oppressor of any male who decides to be this magical oppressed class". Female cannot identify out of being the oppressor but any male can identify into being oppressed by female.

It is 100% an antifeminist, men's rights movement, even if many are being dragged along without realizing, that is what it is. Some trans people are not like this of course I'm referring to the modern movement overall.
